Yellow-orange-ish fungus growing between 0.5 to 4 mm.
Hongo amarillento anaranjado que crece entre 0.5 a 4 mm.
These where found on a wood step on the ground of a trail near the upper tree line of Valdivian forest. The step is almost certainly made of Nothofagus dombeyi (Coihue).
Estos fueron encontrados en el límite superior de un bosque de Coihues a más o menos 1000 msnm. Estaban creciendo sobre unos escalones muy probablemente hechos de Coihue (Nothofagus dombeyi).
Of the described species found in Chile I'm most inclined for these two:
Dacryopinax spathularia
Dacrymyces stillatus
But the Dacrymyces stillatus is suposed to like conifer forests, and here, there are only a few sporadic Conifers like the Mañío (Podocarpus nubigenus).
De las especies descritas en Chile me estoy inclinando por:
Dacryopinax spathularia
Dacrymyces stillatus
La Dacrymyces stillatus no me gusta mucho como alternativa porque se supone que vive en bosques de coníferas o cobre coníferas, y este bosque sólo tenía algunos Mañíos (Podocarpus nubigenus) esporádicos.
