Coleoptera - Family: Lycidae. Supatá (76 kms. NW Bogotá), Cundinamarca, Colombia, South America.
Andean forest, western slope, East Andes, Colombia. aprox. 1800 meters above sea level.
These two lycid beetles are getting rather personal. Also called net winged beetles in the Order = coleoptera, Family = Lycidae. They are usually orange or brown and this banded species is scarce.
