Ladybird larva

Habitat:

Open country with some bushes & trees.

Notes:

The attached ref link is for the 7-spot Ladybird, just one of 46 species, the nymph looks the same as mine but I an no expert on these, I only take photographs.

Thanks for the partial ID. I got to searching until I found more than 20 Ladybird species in UK, then stopped as all the material seems to refer to the 7-spot only.
Unfortunately I did not recall the size but late May seems to be very early for Ladybird larva in UK, maybe it was a mild spring there.
