Western Gull

Larus occidentalis

Description:

Large white and gray gull with pink legs and thick bill that has a red spot on lower end of the bill. The chicks are spotted with darker legs and about 3 weeks old.

Habitat:

These are usually found near water. This one nested not far from the water.
