Description:

Cattle are often pestered by flies and other insects and birds such as this Willie Wagtail enjoy the activity of insects which the cattle stir up, both benefit from the connection. This cow (female) is a Brahman (tropical) X Droughtmaster - Droughtmaster being a cross between a Bos taurus breed of cattle (British) and Bos indicus (tropical). Technically it carries more B. p. indicus than B.p. taurus genes.
