Black-chinned Hummingbird

Archilochus alexandri

Description:

The more common hummingbird I see around here. The black-chinned hummingbird chirps a lot, and is very aggressive towards other hummers around their feeding area. I've only seen it once, where two were simultaneously perched on the same feeder. Granted, they were on opposite sides. When I see the Rufous hummingbird though, the black-chins all but disappear. Tail is iridescent green.

Notes:

This seems to be a female.
