Common Greenback

Hylarana erythraea

Description:

Green frog ( mostly) with white legs, black stripes and yellow "fins". This one was about 10cm I think. But next to her in the water was a little tiny version of her ( the potential father of the children? )

Habitat:

In the pond around the house in Erawaan, Kanchanaburi, Thailand. Near the river Kwae.

Notes:

Lovely green frog, sharing its pond with big roaring bullfrogs and night lillies.

Definitely not Litoria infrafrenata which is not found anywhere near Thailand & looks quite different.
