Photo take on a mangrove area near the coast , this small heron just land on a rock ready to go fishing, about 40 cm high i cannot see the red colors so maybe a juvenile.

Beautiful Picture. I think you're exactly right that it is a Juvenile. The tricolored heron juvenile does not have the heavy streaking that the green heron or night herons have.
