European Turtle Dove

Description:

Medium sized bird, which looks a lot like pigeon, but is more elegant. Has small head and is gray-brown colored.

Habitat:

I've seen it near where I live, but took this picture near coastline.

Notes:

I love this bird. It has a specific sound when "singing" which is really soothing and can be imediatelly recognisable. It is possible my suggested species isn't right-tell me in that case, but my parents always said this was "grlica" to me ...
