Hairy Bittercress

Cardamine hirsuta

Notes:

This is growing ALL OVER the yard, where there is no grass. Takes up a lot of flowerbed space. No idea what it is, though I'd like to know...

Some of this genus can be identified by the number of sepals

So with the genus help, I was able to find likely suspects for my area, and it seems like it's either C. oligosperma or C. occidentalis. Thanks! It's really satisfying to know, because this plant is absolutely everywhere.

This one you will have to check for your area.

Cardimine sp., possibly C. hirsuta, they can be difficult to tell apart. Good luck!
