Katydid Nymph

Tettigoniidae

Description:

This Nymph which I had spotted on a yellow flower took one look at me and jumped off into the green leaves where I practically had to guess where he was. He did not want to make it too easy!

Habitat:

Likely this is the same one that did the round the ring with the Milkweed kid, but he has grown a little. Habitat now seems to be my jungle of Alamanda vine, Vitex tree and Rangoon Creeper in my garden.

Nice spotting, Alice :) I love the vibrant greens in the photos, so summery!
