Nadata gibbosa
Yet another moth with a photogenic disposition! Closely resembling species in the Datana genus, Nadata gibbosa is characterized by the white dots near the middle of the hindwing. The thoracic hump near the head, is taken into account by the species name, gibbosa, in which gibb means humped.
Oak, alder, birch, cherry, chestnut, maple, plum, rose, and willow are food plants of the larvae.
Found in the morning by a light left on overnight.
