Bright yellow body, with an orange pink bill and black cap on front of face. The wings have black and white bars. The feet are orange pink.
This male goldfinch and his mate live in a small copse of trees alongside a well used pathway. There are numerous small plants and flowers intersperced amongst the trees, which are small.
