Tsuga Canadensis

I don't think it's a juniper, But it's possible. Though I believe its a Tsuga Canadensis.
Are you sure this isn't a juniper? Juniperus virginiana? From this angle, it looks like it might be.
It is one of either Tsuga canadensis or Tsuga caroliniana, and it's far more likely to be an Eastern hemlock. But for future reference, for gymnosperms, the keys for identification are primarily the leaves and cones.

Suggestion, Do you have a close of the leave/needles so others can see what it looks like?
