Rivina humilis
Upright to sprawling and vinelike, smooth, bushy herbaceous perennial. Small white to pinkish flowers on drooping racemes. Fruit is a small berry, that turns bright, glossy red as it matures. Often the berries start ripening at the base of a spike while flowers are still opening at the tip.
Habitat garden with many native plants.
The berries yield a red dye.
