Cheetah

Acinonyx jubatus

Description:

A pair of cheetahs feeding on a recently caught impala (Aepyceros melampus). After observing them for about ten minutes, a hyaena arrived and chased them off. Later still, the vultures arrived.

Savanna

Notes:

We came across this pair of cheetahs and their kill on our final game drive as were leaving the Mara after a three day safari.
