Lilac Blewit

Hey Chris, it's taken over 18 months for me to finally crack this one, but I can now safely say this spotting is a Lilac Blewit (Lepista sublilacina). Hooray :-)

Thanks Neil.. They look amazing. I often see them in my garden and I have to remove them, as my dog will eat them..

Nice spotting, Chris. Does the link look familiar? Even the mushroom nerds can't quite decide exactly what species this is. Definitely Lepista species, but beyond that, the jury is still out.

Can someone please confirm my ID???
