Black Drongo (Juvenile)

Dicrurus macrocercus

Description:

An immature/juvenile Black Drongo, smaller in size, not aggressive like the parents and not having the forked tail

Habitat:

Close to human habitation, from Indus basin to Bangladesh, it is a common bird of the Sub-continent

Notes:

While I was trying to capture photos of aggressive diving parents, I saw this little fellow perched on a tree, then I found out that this was what they were trying to protect all this time, unlike the really aggressive parents it allowed me to come much closer for a shot before flying away!
