Spotting

Description:

I found this angry-looking crayfish walking across the road on this rainy morning. I'm thinking it is a Cambarus species but who ever thought there were so many species. Any expert help on ID would be appreciated.

Habitat:

Mountain forest near a ditch & small stream.

Thanks Cindy & Alice.
Alice, oh I'm sorry, that place was cool but maybe you & I can go birding or exploring someday when I get back.

Nice spotting Claire! The house fell through so we will be around awhile yet.

It does look angry! Nice spotting.
