Description:

Eastern Pondhawk dragonfly males are blue, and females are green, right? Not always! This individual is an immature male, as indicated by its green coloration and the terminal appendages at the end of its abdomen. Blue pruinescence will cover the dragonfly's body completely when it is mature.
