Description:

This is an alga that is normally yellow green in color; these have likely become bleached on the beach. The club-like appendages get to be about 2 inches long. It is shown with sea pork in the last photo. This alga is a moderately common species in the Caribbean, Florida and the Bahamas.

Huntington Beach State Park
