Hummingbird hawk moth

Macroglossum stellatarum

Description:

I am unable to categorize it. It was around 2- 2.5 cm. First I thought it was a bumblebee. But the insect was very active and never settled on any flower. It was drinking nectar just like a hummingbird. It mainly targeted flowers of Leucas aspera plant. I have taken a small video of it. The photos are screenshots from the video. https://youtu.be/hpCqZTyGMlE
