About 25mm long.
Mostly rural area, on Sunflower.
I found several of these caterpillars feeding on separate leaves of a large Sunflower plant. I'm thinking maybe on of the Checkerspots, but they are so variable I can't be sure.
Thanks. That was my thought as well, but I have never seen an adult Gorgone, so I was a little hesitant to call it.
