Found this caiman resting on some rocks while exploring a remote trail at Yatama Reserve. I was really surprised to see it. I moved around it and it didn't seem disturbed. I went back the next day and it was basking on the same rock. Even the owner of the reserve had not seen a caiman of this size before, so that was pretty satisfying that I found this on my own.

Great shot Dan. I too enjoy seeing your photos as many of them are similar to what we saw regularly in Ecuador. This is a great shot and, if I may say so, they are delicious :-)
