Description:

I'm unsure if this is a female Leaden or Satin Flycatcher. Any help would be appreciated.

Habitat:

Spotted at Mackay Botanic Garden playing amongst the branches of Hibiscus tiliaceus.

Thanks Ashish :) Thanks Scott, yes I could only guess too. I'll go with Satin too I think, only because the feathers under her tail are a little darker.

Its look like a member of Pycnonotidae family.

ahh they are such a pain, well my best guess would be a Satin but that is only a guess. I've been seeing a lot of these flycathers up here as well.

It must be a flycatcher Marta as I don't think we get Phoebes here in Australia. The Leaden & Satin Flycatchers look so very similar....I cant tell them apart.
