THank you for trying John B.! I think it has been identified by @arne.roysland as Lepidine Spurleg Lady Beetle. Brachiacantha lepida. There are only a few pictures on INat.

This looks like Coelophora inaequalis (Variable Laybird), but I can't find any info. on possible distribution in Guatemala. Wikipedia says "C. inaequalis was introduced into Florida and Hawaii as a biological control agent to combat Sipha flava, the yellow sugarcane aphid.", but no mention of your part of the world. Sorry, I can't do better than that.
