Description:

Family: Pieridae, Subfamily: Coliadinae. Also known as the Alfalfa Butterfly. Variable in color. Yellow/orange with pink and black spots and pink antennae and wing trim of pink. Wingspan 3.5 - 7 cm.

Habitat:

Meadows with abundant wild flowers

Its very alike Dark Clouded Yellow (Colias fieldii) find here in India.
