I have seen two gopher snakes in a dispute.They did not really hurt each other. But they were wrestling until one fell in the water.
You are correct Sarah!!As I heard they show territorial behavior!!!

Any idea why these two snakes were 'standing' up like that at once? Don't think I've seen that before.
