Common Spotted Cuscus/Kuskus

Spilocuscus maculatus

Habitat:

Some local Papuans keeps Kuskus as pets especially the babies. They carry around the baby Kuskus most of the time, like baby. Kuskus are nocturnal and they start coming out to feed around sunset. They have a strong odor and you will know when they are near by their smell :D

Hi @duttaguptaneel.
This Kuskus was spotted in Ahe Island, West Papua (Irian Jaya).
They are nocturnal animals and starts coming out to feed towards sunset.
This one was seen moving from tree to trees, which was not too high.
Thus was able to get reasonably close to it to take this shot.
