Tiny blue bonnets

?Mycena sp.

Description:

Tiny mushrooms (15mm tall) with very domed caps, very few forking gills, thick stipe, all with crusty looking white coating but tints or blue showing through in places.

Habitat:

Growing from the deep crevices in the bark of a seemingly healthy yellow-box eucalyptus (Eucalyptus melliodora) suburban fringe.

Notes:

Until I looked at these shots later I had not noticed the blue tint. Flash on! Mycena lazulina
Marasmiellus cellypha (no references yet)

Can't be of any help but I love the shape, textures and colours on this one Argy. Coated with icing sugar! A beautiful organism.
