Small green fern that usually grows on trees. It will curl up with lack of moisture; and folds out like these after a rain.
These were observed on an Oak tree in a County nature Preserve. The tree was on the edge of a wet area. There had been recent rain causing the fern open up and show their beautiful color and shape.
Resurrection Fern was open in numerous locations on many trees this date.
