Green Immigrant Leaf Weevil

Polydrusus sericeus

Description:

Looks like a black scratch weevil, but it's bright green. I spotted this and several others on milkweed while looking for monarchs, and I also saw one that was just as bright, but was blue, not green.

Habitat:

On the shoulder of a small highway in a patch of milkweed plants.
