Grey Treepie

Dendrocitta formosae

Description:

Strongly graduated long tail; head and beak like that of a crow.

Habitat:

Tirthan Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India. This is in someone's corn patch...they had put out one corn cob on a boulder and I saw some kernels were missing so I knew it was some bird's lunch. I stood on the road for a few minutes and sure enough the bird appeared.
