Small wader, size of dove, green-brown above and white below, sporting greenish legs.
Seen landing on sandy beaches and brackish lagoons close to Freetown, in mangrove ecosystem - coastal ecosystem composed mainly of Red Mangrove tree (Rhizophora mangle, pic No 5).
