Description:

This is not an actual nettle, but one of the deadlier kinfolk of tomatoes, potatoes, and eggplants--a nightshade. They are known to cause extreme distress and even death, not only in horses, but in humans as well. They become yellow as they ripen.

Habitat:

Growing in patches along dried grass/reeds along a creek. Most berries were still green.
