Ruby-throated Hummingbird

Archilochus colubris

Description:

Female (or juvenile?) Ruby-throated Hummingbird.

Habitat:

It was spotted in the flower garden at our cottage house. We have a feeder for hummingbirds but it went straight for the flowers.

Notes:

They were two hummingbirds... i suppose they were either two females or two juveniles because they were quarrelling. I did not spot the male with his distinct red-throat.
