Red Bellied Woodpecker

Description:

9-10 1/2 inches long. Zebra backed with a Red cap which covers the crown and nape in Males. This must be a male.

Habitat:

Woodlands, Groves, Orchards and Towns.

Notes:

On females the red only covers the nape of the neck and on Juveniles no red shows on head...only brown.
