An unidentified robust metallic fly.
Spotted along a survey transect in mixed lowland equatorial rainforest (freshwater swamp forest/sago swamp).
Thanks for the suggestion, Johan. This is a very robust fly. I'm guessing almost 2 cm long. The antennae also look reduced compared to Lucilia sericata in my opinion.
