Just read the comment and have to add: No, it's not okay to harvest and collect. Please leave the fungi undamaged and alive if you attempt to shoot them. If you can't get a shot of the cap's underside and/or stem, you are simply unlucky and have to try again elsewhere or later.

Tip: Always get a pic of the underside and try to get the whole stem. It's okay to harvest and collect!
