Heterocampa biundata
I originally thought that this was a swallowtail larva of some sort, but now I'm confident that it is the Wavy-Lined Heterocampa moth larva.
Shaw Nature Reserve.
Ha, that's cool!!
Thanks bayucca! I only used your first link, and browsed from there until I was sure of the ID... then I see you did have it right with your second suggestion. Little doubt that this is the Heterocampa biundata! Thank-you!
Remembers me of a Heterocampinae, but I am not sure, seems to be a tricky one. Do you have other pictures with other views, for example from top?My remembering candidates:http://bugguide.net/node/view/40327/bgim...http://bugguide.net/node/view/693520/bgi...Careful: There are just hints!
2nd shot failed to load... it's there now.
