Spotting

Description:

Length of abdomen about 13mm, with 3 lateral bumps on each side. Colouration is a mix of reds, browns, and white; legs and cephalothorax are tan. Pics were taken quite a long time ago, but I haven't been able to ID it. I think it's some kind of Orb-weaver, but I never saw its web as I found on my leg after a walk through the bush.

Habitat:

Coastal area with low scrub and plenty of Manuca (Leptospermum scoparium) on sandy soil.
