Hi Leana, can you please fill in the habitat field of your spottings with details of the habitat where you made the spotting, as per our FAQs. This is an essential part of the data we are collecting.
Is it not the same as this stink bug described in the article of U.S.S Post at http://usspost.com/stink-bugs-17792/ , Jolly? They called it Marmorata Brown Stink Bug. I will remove the scientific name until I'm sure what this is. Thanks for bringing this up Jolly!
Leana, this spotting does not seem to be a brown marmorated stink bug. They differ in the abdomen. Your spotting has rounded abdomen compared to a pointed abdomen of the brown marmorated stink bug.
Unfortunately no. I have a spotting same as this and i'm still trying to look for the host plant. In my search, I found this instead: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/130...

Thank you Jolly! You're right that is exactly the same as my spotting.
Leana, I found something that could help you with this ID here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plataspidid...

Surreal, looks like a pewter but cute. Often seen this during rainy seasons near wetlands.
You're right Johan it's a stink bug! Thanks!
This is a stink bug, but I'm not familiar with the bugs on your side of the pond.
Thanks Jolly! They're similar...
My spotting identical to this one is not yet posted.
