Description:

Clusters of blood red miniature amaryllis flower on naked stems, sprouting after a heavy late summer or fall rain. After flowering they send up strappy foliage, which dies down the following summer when they go dormant in the heat.

Habitat:

Habitat yard on Lake Lewisville.

Notes:

They were introduced into Texas in the late 1800's
