Description:

The Steelblue ladybird (from the beetle family Coccinellidae) is a ladybird that has a rounded appearance with metallic blue colour. They like to eat pests that bother citrus trees such as mites, aphids, blue gum scale and black scale which is why they were introduced to other places including New Zealand and Hawaii.

Habitat:

Australia, introduced to other countries.
