Oriental Mole Cricket

Gryllotalpa orientalis

Description:

"Gryllotalpa orientalis is a species of mole cricket in the family Gryllotalpidae, commonly known as the oriental mole cricket. It is found in much of Asia and Australasia." Wikipedia.

Habitat:

This mole cricket flew into the terrace, from the garden, in the late evening. I put it in a plastic jar so that I could take some pictures in the morning. On the following morning, I placed it on a flat surface and took some photos then released it back into the garden.
