Philodendron, Selloum

Philodendron bipinnatifidum

Description:

Deeply lobed leaf that is approx 15-17" in length and 12" in width. Very big beautiful leaves. Shiney deep green color on top and slightly lighter green on bottom.

Habitat:

Flordia coastal wetlands.

Notes:

I first assumed it's a type of fern, but looking at it closer made me wonder if it it may be a type of palm tree instead. It is a young plant, and almost seems like it's forming a trunk. ??

Thanks for suggestion. Asking someone today, she told me it was called a split leaf philodendron. :)
