@Maria dB : thanks! I followed him for about 5 minutes on the beach, after which he went for a swim. These iguanas are everywhere on the islands, sometimes hundreds on the same spot.

We went for our honeymoon in combination with Argentina, Bolivia and Peru.
@JaimeGonzalez if you get the chance, you should really go, it is very worth it. Just make sure you make enough preparations because when you get to the islands, it is pretty difficult to figure everything out.
