Cisseps fulvicollis
Similar to its close relatives in the Ctenucha family, the Yellow-collared Scape Moth is a type of tiger moth which flies by day and night, feeding on flowers with its proboscis seen in photo two. It is characterized by a yellow, "neck", brownish wings, and a blue-black body.
Moist woodlands and fields, mix of coniferous and deciduous woods.
One of my favorite series to photograph!
