The relationship between hoofed mammal and oxpecker can be mutually beneficial or antagonistic, depending on whether the oxpecker sticks to blood sucking insects or begins feeding direct on the host mammal's blood. This young black faced impala was trying to shake his passenger then stopped to look at us
