Aster amellus

Description:

Perennial plant with erect stem that can grows 15-60 cm in height. Stem is little branched and slightly hairy. Basal leaves are egg-shaped inverted, and the upper are sessile, lanceolate and pointed. The flower heads are 3-5 cm in diameter, with more flowers like an umbrella. Central flowers are yellow colored and tubular, and outher are lilac, rarely white.

mountain rocky meadow, 1600 m asl, NP Paklenica
